Former Councillor in Migori County headed for landslide win.

In what is deemed as a protest vote against the incumbent, majority of the electorates are now rallying behind a former Councillor whom they say that despite the little resources which were available in the county council's before devolution, his track records of development is unmatched! He's a peaceful man and has never been tagged along any nature of violence, haterade, abusive or any vulgar language.

The incumbent Member of County Assembly for North Sakwa of AWENDO sub county in Migori County Hon. Timon Awidhi Mbogo is said to have slumbered all through the 9 years of his tenure. 

Residents who preferred anonymity said that the incumbent has forgotten his duties and instead chose to enjoy his ample time with his newly married second wife of 3 years in Homabay town. ''How else can he lead a ward yet he's unable to bring to order his own family that is in quagmire ever since the first wife realized he had a second wife hidden for three years in Homabay town?'' Anonymous.

The immediate former Councillor, Nathaniel Oloo Owalo enjoys a greater support with a favourable voting pattern that is done in blocks. So far, the former Councillor commands and enjoys full support of upto 73% of the polling centers.

''The major reasons as to why we have decided to settle for the former Councillor is the fact that he is development oriented, during his 5 years tenure as a councilor, he opened all access roads in the ward unlike the incumbent who doesn't even know the existence of the same roads. Again, Owalo, has never missed any harambee whether invited or not, he just pop's up even in places perceived to be dominated by his political rivals.'' The councilor who launched his campaigns in a colorful ceremony has however not stated which political party he's going to contest in. "I am a life member of THE ODM party, 

"I strongly believe in it's Ideologies and I fully support the candidature of H.E the 5th president, Raila Amolo Odinga. After a wider consultation, I will let you know of my party stand'' said Nathaniel Oloo during his Campaign launching.
